PeterJMC
Connector housing cracked and the housing seperated? If so, probably the cold weather made the plastic become brittle and crack Looks a little too blury for me to clearly see.
instantfury
yea sorry bout the blur, all i had was a camera phone. the housing itself isnt cracked its more like it was worn down, ill try to get a better picture up. thats the reason im so confused as to how it would happpen. only way i could think is that the belt came off and wore it down, but the belt has never fallen off as far as i know
wngan9447
Heat and vibration maybe... it's weird that a piece like that can wear down...
SBT
Better clear pictures with some "stand-back" perspective on the location would be helpful, followed by clear close-ups. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
PeterJMC
Have you tried to move the connector to see if you can pull it close enough tot he pulley to touch it?
instantfury
still from the phone. ill get the real camera out tonight. i can wiggle it but not nearly enough to get it to touch the pulley without the fear of breaking the connector. SBT
Now with perspective, that looks to be the connector for your A/C compressor. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -
instantfury
heres a couple more, it was 0 outside so it still might be a lil blurry
PeterJMC
Can the pulley slide back and forth? Definitely looks like something has been constantly rubbing against the plug. If you rotate the pulley is there anything hanging off it?
