etcetera
Got a 98 Legacy with 2.2L and 146Kmiles. It misses at 2-3 gears. I plan to do plugs and wires, maybe fuel filter. What else should I replace as part of routine tuneup. It's also throwing a code which I will check shortly.
987687
I did plugs, wires (only because one broke as I was taking it off...), air filter, injector cleaner, and coolant. I also ended up doing water pump and timing belt (because the water pump failed)
etcetera
Thanks for feedback... Given it has no distributor and dist. cap, what do I replace instead of it?
ehsnils
If it doesn't exist it doesn't have to be replaced. Just clean all high-voltage parts (cables and coil pack) so they are free from dirt. Dirt has a tendency to get conductive when there is condensation accumulating, which may happen during cold/wet weather. And that can cause misfires, so keep the parts clean avoid WD40 since it contains lubricant, use something that dries completely like brakleen.
