subaruski
I just recently installed a cobb catless downpipe. I purchase a new gasket from the dealer but there are still leaks between the where the downpipe meats the stock catback. What are some options on how to fix this? subaruski
Yup its a donut gasket. I replaced the old donut gasket with a new one from the dealer but its still to small for the 3" dp so it leaks. Just kind of wondering what people had been doing in the past... goneskiian
COBB DP's taper to match the stock catback. Any chance you bought this one used and the previous owner cut the taper off? Then again I've read of many folks mating other DP's with no taper to stock catbacks and making it work. Hopefully they'll chime in here to help you out. I think i just need a little bit bigger donut. Is that possible?
scoobydoobie
Yeah, they may have given you a donut gasket for a n/a subaru by accident. The turbo donut is bigger than the n/a one.
fonts
I have a Cobb DP and was running the stock catback. No issues at all with fitment or leaks with the OEM donut gasket.
