Pawlwawl06
Hello All, Thought I would throw this out here before my next dealership visit. When I step on the gas slightly, either at a standstill or in neutral, I get this chirp. One single chirp. Sounds like a wittle birdy. Also, sounds like it is coming from beneath the car. Has anyone had this issue before? Thanks, hopefully its not a little birdy.
987687
If you had a hood scoop I'd suggest you check it for birds... Does it do it with the clutch in or out? Or both.

Yeahhhh...umm I just checked and I only have 2 hampsters left, wonder what happened to hampsters 1 - 23... I guess they didn't get along, stupid hampsters Anyways, I get the noise with the clutch in and out, doesn't make a difference.

iyalla
That is weird. You might be getting some kind of weird intake resonance or maybe even an exhaust resonance. Check the exhaust hangers and bushings. Also check to make sure there aren't any holes in the air intake piping.
ehsnils
Sounds to me that it's metal against metal squeak. Just check around - it can be any unexpected location. But it has to be heard in real life before it's really possible to determine what it is.
Dan007CT
I did a mod on my car and took out the lazy hampsters and replaced them with wackjob ferrets. Much better. Gained at least 30hp
