sliCCriC
I think my blower motor went south for the winter... Is that it under the glove box on the right side? Are they a pain in the arse to replace? (1991 subaru legacy)
Bdubs
Check the fuse before you do anything else! I believe that one is under the driver's side kick panel near the steering wheel. It is a slight PITA to change, but it isn't that bad. You can get them on Ebay for cheap if that is your problem.
Napping
Might not even be the motor. Check resistors box (usually an arrangement of 4 resistors near the blower motor, one resistor per heating setting). Cold be loose connections in resistor box. Blower in my old car stopped working, I went to few places and everyone wanted to charge me couple 100s to fix it by replacing the blower. I ended up looking into it myself and found out that problem is fixable by cleaning up some rust from connector and soldering a wire.
