mightyS Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 I drove in my 1st autocross last weekend in the Legacy. The Legacy can do it, but it is a bit big. I made 4 runs and dropped my times from 92 seconds to 84 to 82 then a 78 for my last run. There were 2 STis than ran 70 and 71 seconds for their best times. 1 WRX with a good driver had a 68. I have the 05 non-limited GT with the 93 stage 1 map. It had more than enough power for the course. All I had to do was give it some gas to rev it up and drop it into first. All 4 wheels grip so it doesn't have the spinout problems like some cars. Then I shifted into 2nd and left it there. It pulls strong and I could never floor it becuase that would push me off the track. The wheels made lots of noise in the fastest run. I still have the stock tires with 54,000 miles on them.
