F-WDC Spec B
yea where in jersey? I just got this email from http://www.colorefex.com/... The price for the set of rims starts at $400. The price can increase if a non standard color is chosen. Our normal turnaround time is 5-7 business days. Let me know if you have further questions. Thanks, Cooper

t0ad
I had mine done, but if i could take it back i'd have never done it in the first place. Granted, my experience was spoiled by a retarded local shop that couldn't powdercoat worth a shit. I only found this out AFTER i had the work done I gave like 280 bucks to have mine done, only to have the finish start cracking on them a month or two later. If you get it done, make SURE the people know what they're doing! http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66448
subleg05gt
gezz that sucks. My friend did his rims on his jeep 15" and they came out pretty good and had a nice finish. They r holding up really good considering that he does four wheel with it. No chips or cracks and its been a year prolly longer
oppamen
What the purpose of powder coat? Is it to change color on your rims?
subleg05gt
yea. cuz the legacy has nice rims i just was tried of the silver look. Plus i didn't have money to shell out for rims
F-WDC Spec B
Powder coating is better than paint also because powder coating bonds to the material where as paint just sits on top and can peel off. Powder coating's main purpose is protecting metal from corrosion. Color and decoration is just a bonus.
