itr239
Not a fan (AT ALL) of stock pads... I've used ATE on my old WRX Wagon and they were very good without dust/squeal. Since ATE was not an option for the LGT I tried the Akebono pads... better than stock but not quite the initial bite I was hoping for. Any suggestions? My criteria: - Little/no dust - No squeal (EBCs are out) - Good initial bite feeling There are so many options out there, I thought I'd ask for some opinions. I'm a road racer, but I don't want that level for the wife's street car so no hard-core track pads - just a nice compromise.
fweasel
I run Hawk HPS on both of our Legacies, one of which is my wife's DD. I run them on my Nissan for street pads as well. Definitely don't have the bite that my track pads do, but overall my favorite street pad. ignore him, he'll go away.
Gary Bechtold
Another vote for Hawk HPS. I have them on my Legacy GT Wagon and my Supra Turbo. Excellent choice for our cars.
