TTG Posted October 27, 2008 Share Posted October 27, 2008 what is listed in the manual or the online bulb guides. I wanted to replace my fog light bulbs to match the HID's and ordered some H3's. Once the replacement bulbs showed up I took the old bulbs out and to my surprise they are not H3's I have 9006's installed from the factory in my 2008 Legacy Limited . Car's own manual states they should be H3's but they are not. Has anyone realized this before or is this a one off scenario? I did search before posting this but did not come across something like this? Is it possible that Subaru changed the fog light bulbs from H3's to 9006 (HB4) and did not update the manual? longislander1 Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 OK, I'm probably gonna get flamed for not doing a search on this first, but are there any aftermarket plug-in bulbs that would cause these fog lights to actually give off some decent light?
