ShadowImg Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Recently I noticed that my sunroof cover no longer stops when sliding shut where it used to. I looked around a bit in the mechanism, but I can't see what was providing the stopping function. Guess I'll have to take it in for warranty work, but does anyone happen to know what is supposed to stop it?
jxjjang Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 i have the same problem, but i found a small rubber piece (that doesn't seem to fit nicely where it broke off from).
BLACKeNeD Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 There should be a rectangular rubber block somewhere with a small round nub. I fits in the middles of where the door hits when you slide it closed. I got mine in place by pulling the headliner down a bit and used a probe tool to get the round nub through the hole. It is hard to explain, but if you see it, you'll understand...
