eVoMotion
There was a great NPR - Splendid Table - interview with David and Jason Lett of Eyrie Vineyards recently. It was pretty fascinating to listen to. There is a link to the podcast here. http://www.eyrievineyards.com/journal/ Eyrie was the first ever to win a Burgundy tasting in Burgundy with a US wine (Pinot Noir), first to sell a still version of Pinot Meunier in the world (usually a component of champagne, an illegal to sell as a still in France), first ever to grow and sell Pinot Gris in the US, first to grow Pinot Noir in Oregon's Pinot capital - Willamette valley. And sad news - David Lett passed away last night. Here's to Papa Pinot!
