Paisan
WOW, very nice place. VERY Grassroots, which I absolutely love. Reminds me of our shop in NNJ! Seems like it'll be a very homey/relaxed place to get detailing done. I'm gonna bring my truck and my LGT over before it gets too cold for a pre-winter detailing! -mike

The shop can hold 2 cars to work on comfortable. I have a 1 car wash bay outside to the left of the shop with a long driveway to hold a few more cars. I can't wait to start working out of there already! I just painted the floor today & next week I'll do the walls. Little by little I'll get it done. I sure hope it'll be a relaxig change for me because sharing a shop with someone (in the old shop) for the last 2 years has been nothing but a gigantic headache! Let me know when your ready to bring your truck & car over for some tlc. -A

They need to be block sanded first & a color has to be decided on. Since the rest of the walls will be light silver, I was thinking about a light brown to go with the floor tiles. I picked up this comfy chair from Taget yesterday afternoon. In a few more days this area will be completed. I'm going back to target!
AndrewBigA
Customer waiting area is almost complete. I need to locate a piece of plexiglass to set on top of the stock Infinity rim which will be used as a coffee table. Also, the rim will eventually be refinished in gunmetal with the tire being removed giving a little more space. The new place is slowly comming along. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/updatedcustomerwaitingarea.jpg -A

AndrewBigA
Getting back into the swing of things. I detailed this Viper last winter in my old shop. Here is a nice detailed writeup with plenty of pictures inside. Enjoy..... 2003 dodge viper srt-10 silver with black leather interior and a black convertible Before starting with the prep wash, a sheet was placed underneath the hood.I didn't want to take a chance on any water going into the engine bay area. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper1.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper2.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper3.jpg All jams are washed out.A soft bristle brush is used to get into the hinges and corner crevices. Door jams http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper5.jpg Trunk jam http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper6.jpg Gas cap http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper7.jpg Special care is taken to the wheels.Only soap was used on them. The wheel wells were scrubbed out with a small bristle brush and some mild degreaser. Small bone sponge http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper4.jpg Soft long bristled brush to clean the entire wheel from front to back. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper10.jpg Soft bristle brush for the lug nuts http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper8.jpg Soft bristle brush for the brakes http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper9.jpg After the prep wash is completed we then clay bar the entire vehicle with the exception of the rocker panel and underbody. With no lift in the shop my only choice was to lay on top of a cut up cardboard box =( Doing tar removal on the rocker panels and under the front and rear bumpers. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper12.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper11.jpg The wax is pretty thick especially with the addition of the beeswax that's added in.The bottle was placed next to the shop heater and left alone for a few minutes. Now in liquid form it makes it easier to spread, easier to work into the paint. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper15.jpg Using a new soft coton pad to apply the wax. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper13.jpg

Lay the tape across the top and press gently against it with your hand.Peel up slowly and repeat the process until all the lint is removed. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper17.jpg http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper18.jpg Presenting the finished product. Hood http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper20.jpg Nose http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper22.jpg Front view http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper24.jpg Very sexy passenger low side view http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper19.jpg Outside under the street light in front of the shop http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/viper26.jpg I have to say this was a lot of fun for me to work on this American muscle car.My thoughts on styling are that much attention was shown to the front and sides of the car with the rear end looking a little plain. It really does look like a viper snake just ready to attack its next prey. With sharp body lines on the doors and that aggressive looking hood. Your satisfaction with my work makes me feel good about myself. I put my heart & soul into every car that comes into my shop. I want my customers to love my work. I want my customers to also enjoy chatting with me as it doesn't take much for me to open up as you can tell lol. I enjoy what I do & just try to have fun while I'm at it. I'm glad everything worked out well. Your car was done on time & I was able to meet up with my girlfreind in the city without being late. Here's the pictures that I'm sure will grab everyones attention along with a short writeup. This car was a certified BOMB! both inside & out. For the exterior, a 3 step paint correction was done. I don't like to advertise the products that I use however, Einszett 1Z Glanz Wax was applied by hand (hint! hint!) I love the depth this wax gives the paint. It gives it such a clear & wet reflection. There was a good amount of swirl marks, hairline defects as well as acid rain spots on all top sections of the car.http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpassidehoodbefore.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpassidehoodafter.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnfinishedhood.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpasfrtdrlowbefore.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpasfrtdrlowafter.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpassidebefore.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpassideafter2.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpassideafter1.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawntrunkbefore.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawntrunkafter.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnfinished1.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnfinishedfrontview.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/spawnpeek-a-boo.jpg

Rolling utility cart for my spray bottles & tools underneath. Pull out drawers on the bottom for screw drivers, pliers, wrenches & a few other small things I use daily. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/8sign.jpg My awsome carpentry shines with this hand crafted corner office station! Space was saved by building the desk around the 2 tin cans that are used to store dirty & clean towels. Fuzzy dice were hung on the bathroom door knob for shits n giggles. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/7desk.jpg Ceiling. Only (5) 8ft fluorescent fixtures were needed. Bright white natural sunshine bulbs were used for maximum lighting in the shop. Combined with freshly painted glossy white walls, it's really bright inside! http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c17/triangle05/6cieling.jpg Customer waiting area has enough space for 3 people to hang around while their car is being worked on. I'm really excited about my new shop. The place cleaned up really well. I'm looking forward to growing my business & not having to share a building with somebody else. It's calming to open the door to my own shop & have some peace & quiet, just my cars, me & my employee nobody else to bother us, my radio, my shop! If anyone needs directions just call when your on your way. There's a black steel gate in front of the driveway & I'm not putting up my sign. Just look for Amichi Deli & you'll find me. I'm keeping this shop private for a few reasons. The address is 17-16 154th st Whitestone, NY 11357 718 445- 9995 Thank you to all my current customers & new ones that are on the way.
