I just starting getting this really horrible grinding noise when I am in gear but off throttle under 1500 rpms. I just got an act clutch and light weight flywheel put in. So i dont know if that is to blame or the dual exhaust that was put in. Clearance issue maybe. The thing is that it just started doing this but, the car has been fine for the few days I have had it since it came back from the shop. I was reading about a blown rear diff, could that be it? It should make the noise all the time though shouldnt it? I am clueless as to what it can be. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. I apparently hit the exhaust while hitting a bump so it bent one of the pipes up barely into the drive shaft. Whoo! I thought it might have been something expensive.
