Mo_GT
Hey All, I've been considering a dump pipe for quite sometime now and have pretty much read all the search hits with this topic on this forum I still have a few question tho... 1) AVO dump pipe users - are you finding any issues with the cast belmouth and s/steel pipe warping/cracking/etc. cos of the two different kinds of steel? (I guess they contract and expand at different rates?) 2)Would you recommend the AVO belmouth be ceramic coated? What about heat wrapping the stainless steel part with thermotech? 3) How important is the splitter? (the other fav d/p on this forum is an open bellmouth - thats why i'm asking). 4)Would dump pipes for the twin scroll (like the one below) ie - not splitter but divorced pipes work just as well on the non twinscroll 2.5L. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l191/MOGT/GT%20stuff/HKSdumpBL5.jpg Btw, this is for a 2.5L non twinscroll Australian GT. Thanks, Mo

Guest
Twinscroll will not bolt to single scroll. Nice design of the twinscroll btw - with divorced wastegate - it's for VF38 I think. I have a cast VF36 style bellmouth (non-divorced) twinscroll AVO downpipe and it works fine. Screw up coating, waste of money. Wrap your turbo and the bellmouth instead.
