Krayzie0099
Well, about a month ago I had a friend install a aftermarket HID headlight kit in my '06 Subaru Legacy. I saw him install it and they way it came, he tucked some of the wires inside of the plastic sealed beam caps. Everything has been fine, I smell no burning etc and HID headlights burn a lot cooler than standard halogen bulbs. Tonight I got out of my car and noticed that the front turn signals arn't lighting up orange with my headlights anymore but they still blink and work fine when using a turn signal. Any ideas?? I don't think it has to do with the HID headlights since they've been in for a month without any problems. Any insight would be helpful. Please let me know! Thanks for your help in advance! ehsnils
That's probably because they serve a dual purpose - position indicator and turn indicator. It may be that you have two filaments in the bulbs and that the position indicator filament got disconnected when you connected the HID.
Krayzie0099
It's been working for a month now fine. All of the sudden last night it just stopped. Can that still happen??
