rurouni_x Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 go with 225-40-18, A very common size so you will have a great selection to choose from. Some of my faves are Falken RT-615, Kumho MX's, Hankook RS2 I Still do not know why the Spec only came with '7 wheels its a shame.
GTkansan Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 So i'm buying some GC010E today (18 by 7.5 black prodrives). Can I get a 235-40-18 on them without any rubbing?

matt88 Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 thanks people! i am tempted to go with 225/40/18 but when you look on Toyo website or Bridgestone website, 225 width is approved for 7.5" and wider rims, but not 7" would this be a problem, or is this just the manfacturer covering themselves if the tyre was to seperate from the rim?
str8dwn Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Proxes 4s wear very quickly. ~15k out of mine. And they become pretty loud about halfway into their short life.

You should be fine alot of members have ran 225 on their stock 7' wheels with no issues.
