ShakyJake
I'm looking to spruce up the ol' 05 LGT and since it's new tire time I'm considering going to 18" wheels. After shopping TireRack and DiscountTire, the only wheels that catch my eye are these (pictured below). I'm leaning more towards 1 and 3. I think the chrome wheels would look good, but I'm sort of concerned about the chrome part. I've never had chrome wheels but I HAVE had chrome bits -- like exhaust tips, license plate frames, emblems, etc. that I've purchased for past cars. ALL of which started showing rust after a year or so. I realize it's due to them being cheap chrome parts --- my concern is if these are "cheap" chrome wheels (these are $189 ea.) #1 looks more racy, which is fine, and I like the looks of the picture itself...but Tirerack's preview doesn't look too hot. Additionally, I would LIKE to put 235/40-18 tires on these, although 225's will be fine. Reading the thread about wheel and tire sizes sounds like this should work just fine, but I would like some confirmation that there won't be any rubbing or other issues. My car has stock springs so isn't lowered or anything. str8dwn
I nearly chose the silver KV5. It reminds me of the MOMO WRS, which I really like. What color is your car?
ShakyJake
It's the Garnet Red Pearl. I like the silver KV5's a lot too, but they are sorta close to what's already on the car. http://www.underclocked.org/upload/LegacyGT05.jpg
Aluma
Try edgeracing.com...Bronze Enkei rsv's 18X7.5's, REAAAAALLLY would look nice on your car, and be cheaper than your tirerack choices. They have gunmetal too.
