Is it Mechanical or not? do a google search, thats how i ordered mine, from some random car parts vendor (not necessarily a subaru parts vendor) Its electromechanical, its mechanical that it reads boost off the vacuum lines instead of electronically off the boost solenoid, but the vacuum lines dont go directly into the guage, it goes to an electronic box that converts the reading to an electrical signal that plugs into the gauge. The box is installed in the engine bay, and then wires and plugs go to the boost gauge, making the gauge easy to remove without actually undoing the install. Whats nice is its blacked out when off and does the startup needle sweep just like the dashboard and the Defi link series guages, however the Racer series are standalone and DO NOT need a link control module.
