ehsnils Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 There is always a risk with a turbo kit because you will run the risk of detonation problems because you put a turbo on an engine with high compression ratio and also that the crankshaft/rods can be different. It's probably cheaper to get an used WRX or other engine already with a turbo if you really want to do the job. But I suspect that you will get best bang for the bucks if you buy a turbo car from the beginning and start with that instead. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
