I have a vintage Signature Bubinga kit (LOTS of drums) and a 1960's Teardrop Kit (small jazz kit) The DW's are nice drums, but they are like comparing a nice BMW to a Murcielago...the lambo wins! They are super defined and tonally beautiful. I love the bubinga grain too. I have a lot of drums too...8,10,12,13,14 (rack toms) 16,18 (floors) 24 (kick) too many snares to count too. I also have a Yamaha Birch Custom absolute kit (its actually my dads) 10,12,14,16 and 2 22's. GORGEOUS cherry red lacquer. Same shells as a recording custom.
