dfalk Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 My car just hit 41K miles the other day and its also time for an oil change which im going to do tomorrow. Besides the routine checkup on the air filter, fluids etc. is there anything else i should inspect on the car? What are some known problems on these cars that can be avoided with some preventative maintenance? Also is there anything I should replace after hittin the 40K mark? Bdubs Posted August 23, 2008 Share Posted August 23, 2008 According to the maintenance schedule, you really don't have to start replacing anything other than oil until 60k. That's assuming the 30K maintenance was done, which would also include brake fluid flush, air filter, tranny oil, coolant change, maybe plugs.
