Benefits of APv2 over APv1?

I will be purchasing an 05 LGT in the next week or so and I want flash it with Cobb's Stage 1 map once I get it. I know there are two versions of the AP, whats the added benefit of the v2 over the v1? If all I want to do is get a map on the car, will the v1 do the job?

In case anyone was curious, this is the car I will more than likely be buying. 05 OBP non-Limited LGT

No power difference , same maps. Apparently the version 2 also uploads faster and has features the version 1 does not have (like better grapics, estimation of hp , 1/4 mile times etc). Not sure that is really usable as the data from the sensors /accelerometers is questionable. I picked up a version 1 for $ 200 used on ebay and have been happy with it. You probably won't find a ver 2 for less than $ 4-500.

The graphics on the APv2 are not worth a $2-300 premium. There are no accelerometers involved in the dyno features.. just a speed/time algorithm based on the vehicle speed reading. An iPhone or iPod touch running '[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-DFbJQbeSY]Dynolicious[/ame]' is a more accurate performance gauge.

I got my APv2 from a friend for cheap, but I'd have a hard time justifying it's cost over an APv1. Then again, I don't really have a choice since I'm connecting it to an '08 WRX.. the APv1 will not interface with it.
