how long have you gone without driving your lgt

Recommended Posts

this question has probably been posted before, but i just broke my leg / ankle in three places so its gonna be a while before i can drive again. fortunately it was the left leg, and i have a 5eat, so hopefully the dr will give me permission to drive sooner rather than later. got a titanium rod and a bunch of screws holdin the whole thing together, splinted up to my hip practically, so at present i can barely get in a car let alone drive one

i havent driven the lgt since saturday and already i miss it...

anyone else have similar stories / situations to share?

I live in the city I dont really get to drive it unless i need to get out of town or go tailgating.. I do have weekend cars but those are reserved for my parents to drive around in, where they live in the burbs of chi-town.

1 went for 1 month... I was out of town for 2 weeks then came back to my parents leaving town which left me a B9 Tribeca Limited and 08 Outback Sport to drive... so my car sat for another 2 weeks while I drained their gas... LOL

I went 3 months. Had rod knock and it took the dealership 3 months to fix it. I just got it back on Tuesday. The longest time of my life.

3 months for the dealer to have your car? brutal

did they give you a loaner i hope

3 weeks while I was out of the country. Drove me insane, it sucks not having your own car. I visited my homecountry Romania, along with my wife [she's from there as well] and actually had our wedding there. The car I drove was a Ford Fiesta with a 1.2 litre gas engine. That thing would choke if you gave it too much gas under 3krpm.

ive gone 13 weeks without driving my car this year alone.

5 weeks because my car was in the shop and 4 weeks two separate times because i broke my left ankle twice and i drive a manual.

How'd you break your ankle? How was the recovery?
