icrackedcorn
Ive been listening to the song a bit and the song calls for a recipe that I didnt have the ingredients or the bravery to try. Ingredients: 2 Tbsp. cinnamon2 or 3 egg whites1/2 stick melted butter1 cup flour1/4 cup unsweetened chocolate1/2 cup brandy1 or 2 bags sugarjust a pinch of vanilla DRIECTIONS: Mix the cinnamon, egg whites, and melted butter in a bowl with a wooden spoon. Mix in the flour, then the unsweetened chocolate, brandy, sugar, and vanilla. Form into balls and place balls on a greased cookie sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees. Care should be taken when baking, as the length of time in the oven is not specified by the lyrics. ==================================================================================================== Ive found the following recipe more plausible, and it turned out pretty good. I would recommend NOT using peanuts (its all I had) as the nuts called for. Ingredients: Sugar and Salt 1C Grahm Cracker Pie Crust 1/3 to 1/2 C Corn Syrup 1C Chopped or ground nuts. 6oz Semi sweet chocolate chips Mix Cracker Crust and nuts in a bowl, slowly add corn syrup until they get to be a stiff gooey mix. Don't make these to soft. You want them to hold together and be slightly tacky. Kneed the mixture with your hands, or use a wooden spoon. If they are too soft add more nuts or more crust. You can also let this sit out and it will become harder. Melt chocolate chips in a bowl, a double boiler is better but a microwave is fine chocolate will not look melted in the microwave so just try 1 1/2 to 2 Min. maximum! Then stir and it will become a soft mixture. Make a dry mixture of 2T granulated sugar and 1t salt Roll the balls in the sugar and salt mixture then roll then in chocolate. Make a thin covering. Put the soft, warm, chocolate salty balls on wax paper or aluminum foil and refrigerate until cool. After cool, they are ready to serve http://ffmedia.ign.com/filmforce/image/article/695/695459/isaacs-hayes-leaves-isouth-parki-20060313030816056-000.jpg Ill be checking out Issac Hayes' cookbook to see how close either of these are to his recipe obedience to church and state is subjugation to the unjust authority of men
