mikesae
Interesting link: http://www.healthycar.org/vehicle.searchmodel.php?getmake=Subaru I remember getting a Mazda 3 for a loaner; it had a strong plastic odor and after driving it for a couple days, I felt so nauseous and actually had to take a day off. CTlegacy06
Nice find, first time Ive seen this site or this kind of rating system. Its very interesting to view the cars Ive been in and driven a couple with "high concern'!!! Too bad it seems it has only tested back 3 yrs or so. I also wonder if it depends on trim level since there has be a difference between cloth/leather seats and the other interior pieces.
EquinnoxX
^^ Trims might be an issue but it doesn't specify. But Since my Spec B interior components are made from space age future technology, I'm not too worried
ehsnils
This is the case with many modern cars - plastics of many types in the interior. Cars of the 60's and older used a lot more natural material in padding - like coconut fibers. Of course - it also had disadvantages, like being a good nesting material for mice, but it was less poisonous.
