Long Island Legacy
Okay So i got a Great deal on a Sirius receiver for my car. It mounts remotely in the trunk and has a remote lcd display for the cabin with a din cable. What i'm trying to do is find a +12v constant wire in the trunk as well as a +12v switched for the unit. It comes with a power wire harness as you see i my pictures. Can anyone tell me what wire in the trunks harness i can tap into? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v695/creamfan/DSCN2869.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v695/creamfan/DSCN2866.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v695/creamfan/DSCN2865.jpg

foolds
yea that would work, if you need constant, you will need to find a wire that has that, maybe the dome light circuit or something. Constants are alot easier to find then switched. Could always tap the switched and constant behind the radio. Floating around here some where is a wiring diagram for the radio's. since you keep your headlights on if you wanted to avoid running wires you could use the parking light 12v(almost sure its powered by 12v) for switched. Not sure what the box in the back is, don't have a 07 and have not looked that closely at my 05 yet.
NSFW
Some wagons had an extra accessory power socket in the rear, it wouldn't be too big of a surprise to find that wire in this harness even if the socket isn't actually there.
