Interior colour question.

I've got an 08 outback 2.5i in satin white pearl with the tan interior (yeah yeah I know it's not a GT and non-turbo). Anyhow I gave a ride to a fellow volunteer of rather impressive girth and he managed to take a chunk out of my console lid.

 

My question is, will an 05-06 ivory lid be the same colour as my tan interior? He wants to pay for it to be repaired but there's a lid on ebay that would be cheaper to buy instead.
