unlimited6986 Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I just through a cel code for PO546. I know its the egt sensor, but its been doing this a couple times. I am stage 2 tune from pdx, fully catless. I dont have the sensor in the uppipe. So what ive been doing is just reflashing the car and goes away for about a month or 2. Has this happened to anyone? ehsnils Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 As noted on the link I posted it's a 2.2kOhm resistor that's needed. The challenge is to find the right connector to insert the resistor into, but a bit of cable tracking would probably provide you with a reasonable idea of the correct connector to disconnect. Since the EGT probe is likely to be spent already just leave it in place and disconnect it and then insert the resistor into the connector. I just need the resistor or do i need that and others things? Just took a 3 hour trip and through that code 5 times there and 3 times coming back.
