lisn2me2
in Ny ihave awoken to a few frigid days in the past couple of weeks. it seems that in what appears to be 20degrees or colder the car idles very rough right after starting, i have have to steadily press the throttle for 20-30 seconds, then it warms up fine. during the rough idle rpms fluctuate between 500-700 instead of the normal 1500.any ideas? i have AP stage 2 but cobb says there is no change to the cold start characteristics. i also had the dealer recently change my power steering pump.......... is it coincidence that on these same day i hear a brief belt squeal. any input would be appreciated James
mwiener2
I get a little belt noise as I crank on really cold days, but it stops as soon as it turns over. Try going back to a stock map and seeing if it still idles funny. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
