rough idle when starting below 20 degrees

Recommended Posts

in Ny ihave awoken to a few frigid days in the past couple of weeks. it seems that in what appears to be 20degrees or colder the car idles very rough right after starting, i have have to steadily press the throttle for 20-30 seconds, then it warms up fine. during the rough idle rpms fluctuate between 500-700 instead of the normal 1500.

any ideas? i have AP stage 2 but cobb says there is no change to the cold start characteristics.

i also had the dealer recently change my power steering pump.......... is it coincidence that on these same day i hear a brief belt squeal.

any input would be appreciated
