Guest JessterCPA
Hey all. Was driving home last night & noticed that my headlights seemed real dark. They were on, just not very bright. After I got home I went to clean all the good NJ road salt off my lights to find it REALLY caked on right at the "bubble" of the headlight. Whats more is it looked dark, almost burnt. This is what was dulling my lights. Anyone else experience anything like this? I could practically peel it off. Do our headlights generate that much heat? I cleaned them off with some Simple Green & a clean cloth, so I will see if it builds back up. Thanks. Sorry, couldn't take any pictures. I will next time. I know, TTIWWOP. D-2.5-GT
i think it just builds up after a while. I wouldn't really say it burns on or anything. I haven't ever not been able to get it off. It is noticable though after driving in crappy weather. Its usually like are my lights on? Nothing like a little road grime.
scans007
Mine piles up quick (specially in this weather) and get's dark, but washes right off.....
