And I give it minimal gas, under 2500 rpm.... then when the gear changes from 1st to 2nd... there is a little jerk.... But when the AC is off, it doesn't happen... fishbone Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 A little jerk as in the tranny shifting very firm? Does this happen when the engine is fully warmed, or just when you first start it? If it is doing only when the engine is cold and you first drive it, it should be normal if what you are decribing is a firm shift from 1st to 2nd.
