Y2KOB Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 I have an 01 Outback and am having trouble removing the plug wires to change the plugs. I can turn them on the plug but can't seem to pull them off. What's the trick? I don't want to ruin them unless it's the only way. meier motor sports Posted July 2, 2008 Share Posted July 2, 2008 while twisting the wires pull on them. i dont recall if you have coil on plug or actual plug wires. if actual plug wires i would suggest not being to gentail with it and go ahead and replace the wires with the plugs. the wires only cost a few more bucks and replacing them would be a more complete tune up then just the plugs. an once of prevention is worth a pound of something. lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
