My DIY FRont Lip & RBS Vers II Rear Lip

i had my shop install my RBS Vers. II reardeck lip a few days ago ( Thanks Rommel !! ) and finally got a chance to take a pic of it. today i installed my "Do It Yourself 10 Dollar Specal" front lip. the lip took about 30 mins to set up and install, its not perfect but you need to be pretty close to notice that. the last pics are of a custom TMIC filter i'm building to keep the rocks and other crap from hitting the intercooler. its kidna rough right now but i will even it out when i have the time to finish it up. the rims should be on next week or the week after due to some serious fitment issues.

i got the garage sealer from home depot and the 3m tape from pepboys. between the 2 items it cost me just about 20 bucks. i ended using the whole roll of tape but had like 4 or 5 ft. of sealer left.

good luck on the vers. II lip. my lip buckled when it was painted so when you look at it from the trunklid you can see slight spacing but from the back it looks perfect. it definitly a good add-on in my opinion.

I got my RBS V2 lip in last week and tried test fitting it on my car. Had some issues trying to get it lined up right. If you don't have it PERFECT, it is hard for the lip to rest evenly on the car so the 3M tape will stick evenly. I haven't put it on yet, still trying to figure out if I want to do it, or have a body shop do it.

my shop shaved the bottom down a little bit then painted it. i couldn't have my car at the shop for constant test fitting so the bottom is still not completely flush with the trunk lid but the sides line up and im satisfied for what i payed. when looking at the lip from the rear window you can see a slight gap between the bottom of the lip and trunk lid. in a year or two i will probably shop for another lip to go for a different look. like i said for now i am happy with what i received, and i would definitly buy from rommel again.

if you have either the time to leave the car at your shop or an additional car to drive that will solve the problem. if the car is there for fitment test then the gaps can easily be adjusted and fixed. i didn't have either of those options.
