TrueWhiteBoy
I'm driving a 2005 LGT 5EAT and I've noticed that when in reverse there seems to be very little power. I purchased the car used, so unfortunately I'm not sure what it really should be Is this normal or should I be worried about something?
scoobydoobie
LoL, how fast you trying to go in reverse? Trying to boost backwards? No but seriously, I have noticed with my 05 5EAT that on a flat, or slightly inclined surface, putting the car in reverse it will not start moving on its own. Requires some gas to actually start going backwards. My last two cars (95' Legacy L and 99' Forester L, both 4EATS) had a much more "jumpy" reverse gear. Is this what you are talking about? fishbone
When I had my fluid drained mine also was unable to break traction at WOT in reverse. After a few days it was OK.
