PhiTauFord
I was contemplating putting this thread in the brake area so if a Mod wants to move this, fine with me. I've had my calipers painted now for a few years. I had taken my car to get detailed and the cleaner they used on my rims ended up ruining the paint job on my calipers so now they look like garbage. Can anyone recommend a product that I can use to remove the remaining paint while hopefully not harming my calipers? Thanks!
OCDetails
A wire brush and aircraft stripper should do the trick. In order to get all the paint off you are going to have to remove the calipers anyway, so you don't have to worry much about wrecking anything. They are pretty tough and hard to hurt while removing paint. _________________________________________ “Cleanliness becomes more important as godliness becomes more unlikely.” O C D E T A I L S .
