highlander
I have a strange sensation in the steering wheel when I turn left. Feels almost like a tire rub, but I cannot find where it could rub with the wheel at full lock sitting still. Do not get anything strange on Right hand turns. Tires are new, but no obvious signs of a rub either. Thoughts are: 1. wheel bearing is bad and 'grinds' under that particular loading 2. Suspensions shifts when the load pushes to right side of car, causing a rub that isn't there when the wheel is turned, but car is static. What fixes are there without reversing my mods? Related mods: Progress springs & sways 17x7.5 wheels +50 ET, 225/45-17 tires. thanks for the advice. ToRealEyes
I honestly believe I may be experiencing the same feeling with our legacy..on all stock parts. It happens to me when I'm backing in/out of parking spaces, driveways, etc with the wheel close-to full lock ( i try to avoid going full lock per another thread ). Is it possible there are loose end in the steering rack? Bump for suggestions!
