srgdrum Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Search is your friend. The stock air box has been shown many times to not be restrictive until about 400hp! That said when I was but a wee n00b I had an SPT. Loud ass POS! Now have an AEM that I like very much BUT I AM TUNED FOR IT. I do not (nor will anyone in the know) recommend you slap an intake on your car without proper tuning. Your percieved gain in HP will be improperly metered air surging in and creating al ean condition. Be prepared for CEL with any intake on a stock set up / no tune.
