Opensource Tunes around Redding, CA

I'm looking for a recommended tuner that can do a dyno or road tune via tactrix cable and a LC-1 Wideband 02 sensor. I got a pretty simple set-up: coated headers, up-pipe, Perrin TBE and drop-in-filter in a 05 Legacy GT 5EAT.

I was wondering if any of you guys know of a tuner or shop that is located near Red Bluff, CA, about 120 miles north of sac-town on the I-5. The closest place near Portland, my other home, is Everett, WA 200 miles north on the I-5. I'd rather not buy an AP or UTEC but, if I can't find a tuner or shop that performs opensource tunes sort of close (~2 hours) to where I live I'm gonna have to :icon_frow.

Thanks for your help.

its going to be hard to find a good openECU tuner. mot people that do opensource tunes are kids off of forums like these who dont really know what they are doing.

see here for a thread where a kid blows his motor

its much much easier to find a COBB tuner and in the long run the AP pays for itself in convenience.

**edit**

rumor has it that Paul@dbtuned is looking for an opensource tuned car to dyno... no tuning tho. just #s comparison

A bit far, but maybe you can call Ed and see if he can help. He used to be out of Davis, but I don't know anymore. I think he also teamed up with a Bay Area shop, Gruppe-S I think?, but Gruppe-S moved down to SoCal.. Anyways, he's a popular tuner around that area and he does road tunes.
