Big_Thumb
Hi. Just bought an 08 Outback Touring. First Subaru, and loving it so far. I was told that there is a connector for the trailer light adaptor module somewhere in one of the rear quarter panels. I can't find any access to any of the lighting wiring harness from inside. The instructions that came with the module are useless for the late model Outbacks. Anyone care to direct a n00b on how to locate this mythical device? rubberman
I'm searching for some better info, but the trailer harness connector you are looking for is located behind the driver's side storage pocket. This thread should provide you with all the details even though it is about adding a 12V connector in the same area. The connector is taped to the main wire harness, so you'll have to pull it loose. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9097&highlight=trailer+hitch+connector
