Long Island Legacy Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Will this mount work for our cars. It says its for 2004+ Legacy and i think they refering to JDM model years. It looks jsut like the crappy oem rear diff on my USDM 07. any input please http://www.machiii.net/images/suspension/beatrush/Subaru/36.jpg
AKLGT Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 don't know, and don't know if it'd do anything if it did. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
TRS Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 It does fit. It has poly bushings vs o.e. rubber ones and is supposed to reduce movement of the dif .
Long Island Legacy Posted May 21, 2008 Author Posted May 21, 2008 I feel the rear diff slapp around durring hard shifts.
SeeeeeYa Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 I feel the rear diff slapp around durring hard shifts. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48567 After you've digested the 500+ posts you'll note other's take on your observation . The good thing is, that diff movement can be corrected fairly inexpensively, although there is a little more involved than the rear diff.
AKLGT Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 interesting. I don't think I've ever gotten that and I live in a colder climate and beat on my car pretty regularly.... well, at the track and it's usually NOT cold. When it's cold, I don't get on it due to fears of major boost spike (which I've known a few folks who've had this and not so good). wierd. Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
TRS Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 Laile Beatrush part number S76102MTD-FM http://thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp/@0_mall/laile/cabinet/00301323/img32673922.jpg Japanparts.com has it but they currently have the wrong image up on their site.
LittleBlueGT Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 I am pretty sure that fits our cars (MT only I think). Problem is the majority of the problem is in the upper bushings, not the lower bushings. Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!!
jomamma Posted May 22, 2008 Posted May 22, 2008 should fit both MT and A/T. both have the R160 diff. i believe the 07/08 spec b has the R180

I was once reading a post in some forum for wrx's i forgot which one but they were changing out the upper diff bushings. Are there any solutions for those upper ones?

dandragonrage Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Keep in mind that poly bushings can increase harshness of the ride (transmission mount on my Camaro did... a LOT) and can get squeaky. In some places, they are downright bad to use because of binding, but it looks like it should be OK here.

Could someone who's reinforced the upper bushings possibly post a walk-thru on this? Thanks Never mind....I found it in that 500 post thread:redface:
