jloori Posted May 29, 2009 Share Posted May 29, 2009 i just recently have put a set of zapco components into the doors. the specs say they are 2.87" deep. they are also slightly larger than the typical 6.5" speaker so i had to fabricate brackets using 3/4"mdf and alot of dynamat over the spacer to gap it out and give it a quality seal. the window gets pulled to the magne so i need to space it out alittle more but there seems to be room before it hits the panel.
