carnut114
Has anyone took their egr valve out and cleaned the carbon deposits off of it? If you did did it make a difference? I heard of other people that had different make vechiles doing this. I also know you have to get a new gasket for it.

streetlethal1000
Well Ill bring this up from the dead... I have been having a mystery CEL misfire. I have replaced all the sensors in the dealer manual that would cause this misfire. The manual also says to clean the EGR valve. Just curious if anyone has any pictures, tips, or suggestions. I'm not even sure where it is right now. Would using Seafoam help clean this system? Sorry for sounding like an newb, haven't done much research on this yet. Thanks guys
