Legacy05GT Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 Anyone change side mirror binker bulbs? I'm thinking of putting in white bulbs along w/ matching whites in the front blinkers. The reason I am seriously considering this is because: 1. it'll look alot nicer at night 2. CT Department of Vehicles: C.G.S. 14-96p: Color of Lights: (a) No person shall display upon any motor vehicle any light visible from the front thereof other than white, yellow or amber, or any light other than red, yellow, amber, or white visible from the rear thereof, except a light used with any school bus, without a written permit from the commssioner. I had originally though that it was illegal to have anything other then amber blinkers, but i guess not. Anyone try this yet, or anyone want to? D-2.5-GT Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 Aren't the plastic bulb covers yellow / orange anyway. I would suspect that even changing the color of the bulb wouldn't get the effect you seem to be looking for. You would have to clear the colored lenses out in order to get a significant change.
