jrotes Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 This may just be common knowledge, that I am lacking. Sorry! Is the Legacy built in Japan and then shipped over to the US? A friend that owns an STI says that only the STI's are built in Japan. Not sure if I believe that.
RaGe Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 does your friend do drugs? is he addicted to cocaine? OTM. Sorry I didn't mean to start a war which mainly forum people is all about .
chenc544 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 USDM Legacy is built in Indiana. In fact there should be a little SIA sticker on your rear driver side window. Anyway IIRC, only the Tribeca and Legacy are made in the US, all other Subaru are made in Japan and shipped over here.

LegGTLT Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 See here. And here. Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. He is the acting Admin and can resolve anything related to LegacyGT.com
Maddie08 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Engine/Tranny assembled in Japan. I'm assuming everything else made in the U.S., but possible axles or heavy parts assembled in Mexico or Canada. Final assembly is definitely the U.S.
CMull123 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Final assembly is about 2 hours away from me in IN. You don't know how to read a door sticker? You prolly don't know about the "washing the intercooler" issues either.
