lavok05 Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Hello Everyone, I am a new member of this forum, but have been reading it for a while. First off, I would like to take this time to introduce myself. A few months ago I purchased an '05 GT Limited, which is my first Subaru. I have been reading this forum and others to decide on what exhaust to buy. For now, I am going to purchase a catback and have narrowed my choice down to the Cobb and Perrin catbacks. For those of you who have either of these setups, or who have heard both in person, what is your opinion of these two systems? All of the clips I have heard of the Cobb system has been w/ a downpipe. Would just the catback be a little quieter and mellow? I know both are pretty loud, but between the two, which would give more of that low, boxer rumble rather than the raspiness that I hear in many other systems? As of now, I am leaning more toward the Cobb system. Sorry for the long post, but in advance, I thank you for any information/opinions that you can give. Thanks, lavok05
Throttlejockey Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I'm thinking about the HKS silent exhaust. Sounds pretty good in this clip. http://video.aol.com/video-detail/07-subaru-legacy-gt-hks-silent-hipower/3373302235
