Boxer4racing MAF adapter

Recommended Posts

Anyone running boxer4racing.com's MAF cone filter adapter? Looks like a good and MUCH cheaper alternative to a CAI. I'm realistic and not looking for any real power gains, just a nicer growl, and was curious about the fit/quality of this set up. Looks like a good deal, but was curious before shelling out any more $$$ over a drop-in panel filter.

i had got mine from ebay. I forget the actuall title to what it is that i purchased but here is a picture of what i done. I honestly dont know if i would mess with the MAF. ours is so sensative anyways. i am just giving you an option to what i done. i did this and put in a K&N drop in filter. Had a nicer growl to it and seemed a little more throatier if that makes sense.

This is the thread that i got it from basically.

The only thing that is changed that is the piping. Still keeping the stock air box. Reason for that is the MAF. It is a very sensitive piece.

if you read that link, you have to cut off a bit of the tubing on the intake side ( where it would connect to the motor ). Other than that, plug n play.
