spiderpig
I have a cobb catted dp, midpipe and y with stock cans - and since installation it makes a sound almost like a backfire when I go hard in first gear and let off the throttle. I got tuned yesterday and they heard the sound but told me that it is not fuel/tuning related and may be expansion caused by trapped gas in the stock cans or maybe the rubber hangers. I just ordered a set of polyurethane hangers from rallitek anyone else have this problem or hopefully a solution? thanks
GTTuner
It's normal, mine does the same thing. It is more like a popping on decell, not a loud backfire.
spiderpig
thanks for the reply - I am debating whether the gains (if any) of having the cobb mid and y are worth the additional noise or if I should reinstall the stock piece
