cfdrumr Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 So I was heading South on the 405 today on my way to school, about 7:30...right at Santa Monica Blvd. There was an S2000 infront of me. We were going fast but not THAT fast (73 or so) We were both in the #3 lane (2 to the right of the carpool lane) All of a sudden a CHP pulls up behind me and turns his lights on. I slow down because I thought he wanted to go around me. He starts yelling over his loudspeaker and waiving his arms in out the window. I pull over and he gets the S2000 to pull over too...we all get off the Olympic. He walks up to my car and asks for my license and all that good stuff. I asked what I did and he says "You were in the carpool lane!" I tell him I was not because I was getting off the olympic anyway. He stares at me for a couple seconds and I say again "Officer...I know I was not in that lane...It is double yellow from the 101 to the 710!" He just says "fine...have a nice day" WTF! He got me all uptight and I think I just failed a history test first period because I cant pay attention!
BDII Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 In most states Officers are required to give a written warning whenever they stop someone regardless of guilt/innocence. I'd complain Need forum help? Private Message legGTLT
MannyLegacy Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Dang man, that sounds like some BS right thurrr. Did you see if he gave the s2000 guy a ticket at all? :munch:
cfdrumr Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 no, I didnt wait...I was already late. I think I am going to contact the CHP about this. It seemed so lame and fake
