SpawnGT Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 hey man.. its actully kinda wierd, i know the mesh idea sounds like a cool idea, but since the fog lights are very long tubes, it would just be a dark hollow mesh-y thang. I on the other hand after going with my FMIC, had to cut out my fog lights, and after i did so, i ended up doing something in the reverse order of most users on here. I took the 2.5 Foghlight hole inserts and instead of putting 2.5gt fog lights in like the 2.5i crew, i use the 2.5i hoe inserts, and i installed them, covering up my piping in the process. jomamma Posted April 3, 2008 Author Share Posted April 3, 2008 first i have h.i.d.'s the fog are pretty much drowned out. the legacy IAT's are ridiculously high. i want fresh air to get to the air intake. i wiil attempt to mate the cobb intake box with my k&N typhooon, to make a true and complete cold induction kit. i know 1 member for sure removed the fogs for this very purpose. i was hoping he would see this thread and post a pic. i will then purchase smaller hid fogs and mount them in the lower bumper opening Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
