AJChenMPH
So I was messing around on the Subaru USA site the other day, and noticed that the Outback XT's brakes (at 11.5"/10.6" F/R) were somewhat smaller than the LGT's brakes (at 12.3"/11.3"). Has anyone ever thought of swapping the carriers and rotors out on an Outback to the LGT's? Or are the components different enough (i.e., calipers, hub offset, etc.) that it can't be done? Understanding that tires are also an important part of the braking equation, I'm a big fan of larger rotors from a longer-lever and heat-sink perspective.
